IEEE MREC STUDENT BRANCH

The IEEE MREC STUDENT BRANCH is established in the academic year 2007 , with an initial student membership of 48 from all Engineering Branches along with two staff members as Branch Counsellor, Mr.S.K.Tripathy, Associate Professor of ECE Department and Dr.N.Y.S.Murthy, Associate Professor of Bio-Technology Department as Branch Mentor . The Petition has sent to Head Quarters in the month of August 2007, for granting the Student Branch.

The Student Activities Chair of IEEE-Hyderabad Section and AP State incharge namely Mr.Srinivasa.R.Nookala,SMIEEE has designed the following forth coming events in consultation with concerned authorities for the benefit of Student members during 2007-08.

2. BEST SPEAKER HUNT

3. SOCIAL WORK

4. EDUCATING THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

5. NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL STUDENT PAPER CONTEST

6. WEB DESIGN CONTEST

7. GUEST LECTURES

The Department of Electronics & Communications Engineering of MREC has planned to organise an Intensive training on MATLAB SOFT WARE & Related Tool Boxes which is scheduled from 01-12-2007 to 07-12-2007 in the Digital Signal Processing Laboratory, for the benefit of III B.Tech ECE Students. The Resource personnel are from M/S.Raghuram Associates-Chennai. This is a Sophisticated training and is very much useful to learn the Scientific Computing Language which suits for the present day technical demand . The Student Activities Chair of IEEE-Hyderabad Section and Branch Counsellor of MREC are coordinating the said training.
